The failure to ask for help is the most damning for me...in my youth. Too headstrong to think anyone could know better. I would claw and crawl my way from prospect to prospect and lose. Finally, a light went off in my very thick head about asking for help.

My father quoted me with, "If you want to learn how to play chess, do you you hang out with the Football team or the Chess Club?" I tell ALL of my co-workers that same line.
