Your company caught my attention because of the work I did on the emergency communications system for Alaska. One of the issues that we dealt with routinely was border security and coordination between US and Canadian customs and law enforcement folks.
What kind of issues does your company address regarding security issues with product shipments when you facilitate customs processing?

I have been a consultant for something over 35 years now, so I have always been in sales. There are a couple of things that attracted me to this community.
One is the opportunity to learn from people who do sales management as their profession. Alaska, because it is so oriented toward minerals extraction, does not have the kind of sales forces that are common in the lower 48. Because our company's work is typically on the operations side of a business I seldom get to interact with marketing and sales folks directly.
The second reason is that I have a book coming out this year. One of the marketing tools we are exploring is the use of a ning site. This is my first opportunity to be involved in one of these communities. It is very interesting to see how the dynamics of this community develop.
I hope that whatever comments I make are appropriate. I'm here to learn
Happy Wednesday!

It is possibly not the correct photo for a sales blog however it was just something to put against the post "Get People to do what you want".
